1. Who is eligible for the 3-Point Championship event? Can International players participate?

Anyone 18 years of age or over and who is not under an NBA contract for the 2006-2007 season (up to June 9th, 2007) can participate. International players are eligible and welcome to join. All current college and high school players (of 18 years of age) are eligible, however we strongly encourage you to check with your compliance office who governs your eligibility.

2. Can women participate in the event?

Absolutely. We would love to see women compete in the event. Please note however, that a men's size basketball will be used during the tournament and women will be required to shoot using that same size ball.

3. Will there be sufficient time to warm up prior to my shooting slot?

Yes. We will have additional baskets available to warm up (15 minute warm up period) that will be away from the actual competition baskets. Due to the number of players in the event, we will coordinate practice time and a warm-up schedule will be announced prior to the event.

4. Can I split the money with an investor/sponsor?

Yes, however the 3-Point Championship will disburse winning monies only to the individual participating on the official application. Any business arrangement between you and another party is not the responsibility of the 3-Point Championship. Please consult with an attorney and/or CPA to help with these types of arrangements.

5. Can a group of players pool their entry fee money together and split if one or more of us finish in the money?

Yes, however like question #4 above, the 3-Point Championship will pay any prize monies won directly to the winning player. It is the sole responsibility of the group to arrange and legalize their business agreement.

6. Can ex-NBA players participate?

Yes. Any players under an NBA contract during the 2006-2007 are not eligible to participate.

7. Are travel arrangements, hotel accommodations & food included with the $1,500 entry fee?

These are the responsibility of the participant. We chose to keep the return payout as attractive as possible. We have also learned from experience, that many people prefer to stay and eat at hotels and restaurants of their choice. We will have a kick-off party on Friday night before the event. We have also arranged hotel discounts for participants at Palace Station.

8. Will there be referees to enforce the 3-point shooting line and time limit rules?

Yes. We will have certified, experienced referees at the event who will enforce the rules.

9. Is the event affiliated with the NBA?

We're not affiliated with the NBA.

10. Is it true the event will be televised?

Yes. The event will be covered by Platinum TV's Cutting Edge series and televised on ESPN2 & Fox Sports Net.

11. What brand of baskteball's will be used?

We're not sure at this time. We're currently looking into several companies who can sponsor the basketballs for the event. As soon as a decision is made or sponsor is found, we will announce this information.

12. How can I trust the entry fee money will be safe?

All entry fee money will be held in escrow with a certified public accounting firm until the event is held. We're using the same firm that oversees the money for the very successful, high stakes fantasy football company, Fantasy Sports Championships, LLC. FSC has managed the www.wcoff.com event very successfully for the past 5 years so we have a proven track record you can feel good about and trust.

SPONSORS

We're designing our site to bring together those players looking for financing help and investors looking to sponsor players. Our site will allow potential players to post their resume and credentials for potential sponsors or investors to see. We will do our part in trying to help individuals find the financing they seek to compete in the event if they cannot fund themselves. Any and all financing arrangements and deals will be between the player and investor. The 3-point championships will not be involved in anyway for such arrangements.

I want you!
